The year 2016 is already coming to an end and smartphone manufacturers are running out of time to upgrade their device to the next level. One such company is Xiaomi, which has already launched several phones this year, is already working on its next big release.
The next big release of Xiaomi will be the replacement of its very popular flagship Mi5, which was released earlier this year. The device following the company's standards, will be called Xiaomi Mi6 and is almost ready, awaiting only the kickoff to begin the launch.
We all know that Xiaomi always seeks a "light" inspiration from Apple to develop its products. Several devices of the Chinese company have outstanding characteristics that always resemble Apple electronics, ranging from MIUI interface to the design of the device and some features. The Flagship Mi6 will not let go these "inspirations". According to a leaked image of the device, the next release of Xiaomi will have a design very similar to the iPhones 6 and 6s, with the sides and back almost identical.
Other than that, we do not know anything else about this smartphone. Last month Xiaomi started a survey asking brand fans to choose features for the Mi6, two options available for the body, metal or glass, Snapdragon 800 or 600 series processor, 4GB or 6GB memory RAM, 32GB or 64GB for internal storage and camera features.
Unfortunately we do not have a specific date for the launch of the device, but as with the Mi 5, we expect it to be released early in 2017.
